This Residence was built on a very narrow and difficult site. With a main house and a detached guest house it is surrounded with exterior water features.
This Mercer Island lakefront property was featured as the cover story in the June 2009 edition of Seattle Homes & Lifestyles, describing its unique molding into a hillside with a 35 degree slope. Building this 10,000 square foot residence on a very narrow and difficult site, utilizing almost every square foot of the property offered many difficult challenges during construction. However, exterior water features and large boulders surrounding the main and detached guest house, in conjunction with the custom made ship lap siding and concrete gave it a unique ‘nestled in the falls’ feel. Copper siding and Quantum windows were used on the guest house to give its own uniqueness.
